About Us
Dublin Tourism was established by Bord Failte (Failte Ireland) as
the agency with responsibility for the servicing, development and
promotion of tourism in the Dublin region. We are a state appointed,
commercial agency with a membership of more than 1,400 businesses.
Our principal mission is to enhance Dublin’s economy through
tourism development by marketing the Dublin region on a world wide
basis, as a premier destination for the business and leisure traveler.
Dublin Tourism’s membership consists of Failte Ireland, the
four local authorities in Dublin along with Dublin’s leading
tourism related organizations and companies. Members of Dublin tourism
include: hotels, bed and breakfasts, guesthouses, hostels, self catering
premises, restaurants, museums, pubs, shops, theatres, tours and
attractions.
Dublin has an extraordinary choice of activities for visitors. Our
goal is to make it easier for visitors to get the most our of their
time here by offering the most comprehensive visitor information
and services in one location – either by way of personal service
from our travel advisers, printed materials or with electronic information.
Over 1.2 million tourists use our services each year. Dublin Tourism
Operates a network of six Tourist Information and Booking offices
around Dublin and we have five visitor attractions throughout the
region.
